According to the Saudi Film Commission’s 2025 box-office report, total revenue reached about SAR 920.8 million with roughly 18.8 million tickets sold. The figures do not guarantee success for every production, but they show a sizeable and active theatrical market.
What this means for the market A larger audience increases the importance of the workflows that happen before release: development, production, casting, talent management, marketing and distribution. For MLAMH, the key point is that a growing market increases the need for more structured talent discovery and selection.
What this means for talent A bigger market does not guarantee work, but professional profiles, images, showreels and self-tapes matter more as selection becomes more structured.
What this means for publishers and producers Projects benefit from clearer briefs, faster screening and better shortlists.
