Advertising casting in Saudi Arabia

Advertising casting works best when the selection journey is structured from the start. Instead of searching randomly for faces, define what the ad needs and let each step reduce uncertainty.

1. Start with the advertising goal

Is the campaign for a product, store, app, restaurant or service? Is the output photography, video, short-form social content or paid advertising? This changes the performance and presence you need.

2. Turn the idea into a brief

Write a short role description, city, date, shoot duration, talent type, approximate age only when necessary, usage and compensation.

3. Collect profiles in a structured flow

Ask talent to apply with complete profiles rather than receiving isolated photos across many conversations. A profile gives better context for comparison.

4. Screen for true requirements

Remove candidates only when they miss essential requirements. Avoid turning preferences into hard filters without a reason.

5. Build a shortlist

Compare the strongest candidates based on photos, portfolio, location, availability and brand fit.

6. Request extra material when needed

For performance roles, ask for a self-tape or short audition. Some photography campaigns may only need a strong profile and relevant images.

7. Confirm before the shoot

Align on date, location, duration, usage, compensation and anything the talent needs to prepare.
